Playing ping pong with Jason, a boy that my mom babysits.
I completed my mission yesterday. I've spent the last few months working on some personal goals and making progress. My Mission President sent me this text "You're a wonderful young man. Keep progressing and moving forward. Love you."
I learned a lot serving at Ensign Ranch. There are things there that reminded me that God is aware of me. The sunsets, the mountains, the trees, the walking paths, the heron at the lake, the deer outside my apartment window, the stars on dark nights, the white snow that covered everything, and the complex and unique individual snowflakes. And I had answers to prayer that helped me know God knows me.
I'm working on plans for what I want to do now. I want to do a 2 year program in ITCS at Perry Tech that will build on the 2 years of CyberSecurity that I took at YVTech. But first I need to find a job so I can earn enough to go. I don't get financial aid, so I'm going to save as much as I can and my parents are going to match half of what I save. Then maybe I can go sooner. Their next opening is in January, so I'm hoping I can earn enough by then to be able to go.
Thanks for all your prayers and some emails too. Even if I didn't always answer, I did read them and appreciated them.
